Mr Huang Jianpeng began to collect the first Japanese albumen image of 19th century in 2007 when he went to Japan for the tour of arts, by now he has collected more than hundred of works. Most of these works are collected from London Photography Week and New York Photography Expo, and all of them are carefully selected by Mr. Huang Jianpeng from a large number of Japanese coloured albumen works. The hazy, quite and beautiful pictures not only reflects the photography style of Japan at that time, but also shows the painting tide. From these hand colouring original works, we can see the excellent making and exquisite hand colouring. At the same time, the large size albumen images also make person feel pleasant.
The earliest original works are taken in 1860s, only about ten years from the year 1848 when the earlier photo was taken in Japan photography history. These photographs are very precious. And most of these works are photographed in 1880s. These works with more than one hundred history not only make people be pleasing, but also provide real images to study the Japan of that period.
